Hello, my name is Anna Matyus, I am a printmaker working from my studio in North Yorkshire near the North Yorks Moors.

I create original limited edition prints taking my inspiration from the heritage architecture I frequently visit and pair them with the intricate and complex patterns of their decorative features.

​

Using etching and collagraph printmaking techniques and a colourful palette, I aim to bring to life the powerful geometry of often faded motifs, symbols and time-worn patterns of historic artefacts found in the masonry and ancient tiles of these sacred and historical sites which I find really intriguing.
